Moxie 2 Examine App

The game still works fine, and until today, I was able to see where I placed on the Daily Challenge random puzzle. Now my name doesn’t show up at all. It’s an innocuous name, but it just does not even appear anymore.

Recent update prevents letters from being played immediately. A letter is now choose, the player waits, then it appears in place. Unacceptable. Fix this and I’ll change my review to 5 stars, because it is a good game, easy on the nerves with no timer. I want this game back.

Nothing you type shows up. You get points but you can’t see the words. Please fix!

Been playing this for years and have loved it. Today it has slowed with big lag times on iPhone 13. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Still horribly S L O W Will reinstall once you have updated and fixed. Bummed!!

I paid for this app & no sound ughh, I should’ve just played on the free version

I hadn’t played this in a while but just started playing again. I love this game, but for some reason the final move is not counted. It may just be when you pass on the last letter, but it may be more than that. Please fix for a 5 star review

I have so missed this version and every time I play the classic Moxie I’m wishing for this one. Not only is it more challenging, but there are more options for color backgrounds. The fact that it is still free is a great bonus. And timing is perfect as we’re stuck with perhaps a little more time on our hands.

I enjoy crosswords, but not very good with scrabble because I haven't played enough. This is a good way to build vocabulary solo. I really enjoy it and play every day.

I cannot get the app to open on my iPad...please update this software. I have the latest iPad and OS software.

I've played this game he for years but now it no longer loads on my iPhone

Game no longer loads.

Game won't complete loading with IOS 10.3.2 on iPhone 7. Progress bar stops at about 95%.

At the end of each game if you score is in the world's top 250 it is posted under high scores. The name that I list is Trump Train. As soon as this nickname is posted it is immediately removed. Totally unfair!! This is nothing profane about the nickname Trump Train. I happily support Donald Trump and want to reflect that. I do not recommend you purchase a game from liberal bigots!! Thank you.

And the developer is committed by updating an older game to 64 bit to keep future iOS builds from breaking compatibility. A+ dev!

Good way to pass the time....

It's as though the game anticipates the letter you're hoping for and prevents you from getting it. One or two games is all I can stand.

I love the game, but the sound will not silence. The option window says the sound is off, but the sound continues without change. The volume control on the iPad or iPhone 5s is turned down but the sound still comes through. This fault makes the game impossible to play any place in public or in a very quiet room. Too bad, otherwise I would recommend it to all.

I play this game every day. The daily challenges are a lot of fun and this has been one of my favorites. Unfortunately, it has not been updated since 2013 and is really showing its age in iOS 10.

This game is so awesome! I never thought I would see the day when my mom was glued to a cell phone, but it has come! Thank you! One quick thing, though. Since when is "zebra "not an animal?… Something else that just occurred to me. I wish some other of your games were as accessible as this one. I am blind, and was unable to figure out red herring. I would love to play more of your games!

Great game! It's infinitely challenging. I do wish that the game's volume control was not dependent on the phone's ringer volume. It should be connected to the phone's speaker volume instead. I like my ringer loud, but don't want to hear "MOXIE!" and assorted game sounds at the same high volume!

Great game - play it a thousand times! Will have to see how many tomorrow... Favorite travel game from Alaska to San Diego to Boston and back to Seattle.

First of all, I love this game!! I have a couple ideas: I'd like to be able to see a list of all the Moxie words I created (even if it's not until the end of the game). I also think it would be really fun if we got bonus points for completing an entire game without a Twaddle. I don't think I've ever actually accomplished a Twaddle-less game before... But if I got bonus points for it, I'd definitely be in for the challenge. A list of all the Twaddles at the end of the game would be fun to see too. Along with a total of how many points lost. And a total of the moxie points as well. Thanks for creating such a fun and addicting game!! Oh, and "duck" needs to be a moxie word for animals.

Awesome thinkers game love the challenge

Most games I get bored with after a week. This one I have been playing for months with no end in sight,

Been playing it forever. I always come back to it. It's not time consuming, no rules to remember. Such a simple concept! Awesome game!

This is a great game that can relax, challenge, and stimulate the player all at once. It can also increase one's vocabulary. I play at least once every day.

The original Moxie was great. The follow-up, Moxie 2, is a step or four better than OM. And that's the end of that chapter...

I love the daily challenge but I'm always dissapointed when it's moxieless.

I have never had such a good experience with one game company. Playing their games is about two thirds of all the games I play. They don't press for time, you can do them during commercials, and the sounds and graphics are addictive and fun. Unusual in a game company that mainly does word puzzle games.

Not too easy, not too hard!!

One of my three favorite word games. A must have!

Great game. You compete against yourself and can vary the play to keep it interesting. Animals as moxie words, daily challenge etc. or make up your own rules: no passing any letters, no use of letter k and so on. Like that the play is geared to your own pace yet moves quickly to maintain interest. I've never been particularly good at scrabble but this is fun no matter your skill in word games. Sometimes I inadvertently create a word I've never heard of. It would be nice to have a quick link to word definitions.

I absolutely love this game! I prefer to play Moxieless but I'm going to try to play the tiger ways eventually.

What happened to my later version that allowed me to post a score? All of a sudden, I'm back to 1.15. Why? I can't find 1.73 in the App Store! What gives?

After more than a year (even longer with the prev ver), I still find myself loading the game up almost daily. No running clock. No ads. No "pay delay away" offers. Just a nice solitary word game. Very few games hold my interest for this long, and I can't envision being tired of it in the future.

Relaxing after a long day of work.
